Rob Thomas
Rob Thomas (born February 14, 1972) is the
primary songwriter and lead singer of the band Matchbox 20 and formerly of the band Tabitha's Secret. He also
records and performs as a solo artist. He has also written songs with or for the following artists: Daughtry,
Taylor Hicks, Pat Green, Marc Anthony, Travis Tritt, Mick Jagger, and Willie Nelson. He most notably co-wrote and
sang on Carlos Santana's hit "Smooth" which went triple platinum in 1999. (3 Grammy Awards!)
